Ceramic Cutting Blades are usually made out of zirconium oxide (ZrO2). These ceramic blades can only be ground using diamond because of their very high hardness. This material ranks 8.5 on the Mohs Scale of Mineral Hardness, compared to 6 to 6.5 for hardened steel, and 10 for diamond, giving a very hard edge that rarely needs sharpening.
Ceramic Cutting Blades do not rust. They are also nonconductive and nonmagnetic, which can be useful for bomb disposal operations. They have chemical inertness to both acids and alkalis and also have ability to retain a cutting edge up to ten times longer than forged metal knives.
Product Feture

*Resistant to Heat: Can be used in high temperature applications
*Razor Sharp: Gives clean cutting and slit edges
*Reduce Static Build-up
*Low Coefficient of Friction
*Corrosion Resistant
*Non-Metallic
